Day 190. Difference between goals and resolutions

Jan 8, 2013

(Original)
I never thought about the differences between goals and resolutions before.
When I heard that the theme of Toastmasters this week was “Goals, not resolutions, for 2013”, I googled.
But the search results confused me even further. Some people define, “One’s a hope (goal), and one’s a plan (resolution),” while others define, “goals are specific and measurable, resolutions are not”.

What’s your definition and what are the your goals or resolutions year 2013?

(Correction)
I never thought about the differences between goals and resolutions before.
When I heard that the theme of Toastmasters this week was “Goals, not resolutions, for 2013”, I googled the two terms, but the search results confused me even further. Some people say, “One’s a hope (goal), and one’s a plan (resolution),” while others argue that, “goals are specific and measurable, resolutions are not”.
What’s your definition and what are the your goals or resolutions year 2013?
